چکیده
This work presents the novel method named BIOSAS to formulate homogenous dispersions of bioactive substances in an oily matrix. The is based on carbon dioxide supercritical antisolvent (SAS) technique produce small drops a solution containing substances, presence lipid substance. Ethanolic and aqueous solutions were used solubilize complex mixtures phytochemicals depending polarity compounds. Ethanol was removed entirely from droplets by SAS effect, solid particles with mean diameters below 1 μm uniformly dispersed matrix; for solutions, water produced high-pressure mixed phase emulsifier, stable emulsions obtained. permits particle size control can be lipid-based nutraceuticals or food supplements inert atmosphere at low temperatures, contributing reducing oxidation thermal degradation

Polymer Encapsulation of Fine Particles by a Supercritical Antisolvent Process
Coating and encapsulation of fine particles with polymer using a supercritical antisolvent (SAS) coating process was investigated in this research. Synthesized submicron silica particles were used as host particles and poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA), a biodegradable polymer used for controlled release of drugs, was chosen as the coating material. In the SAS coating process a suspension of si...

The aim of this study was to develop celecoxib-polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) solid dispersion nanoparticles with and without surfactant using the supercritical antisolvent (SAS) process. The effect of different surfactants such as gelucire 44/14, poloxamer 188, poloxamer 407, Ryoto sugar ester L1695, and d-α-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate (TPGS) on nanoparticle formation and dissolu...
متن کاملEnhanced bioavailability of sirolimus via preparation of solid dispersion nanoparticles using a supercritical antisolvent process
BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to improve the physicochemical properties and bioavailability of poorly water-soluble sirolimus via preparation of a solid dispersion of nanoparticles using a supercritical antisolvent (SAS) process. METHODS First, excipients for enhancing the stability and solubility of sirolimus were screened. Second, using the SAS process, solid dispersions of sirolimus...
متن کاملParticle Production by Supercritical Antisolvent Processing Techniques
This thesis discusses particle production by supercritical antisolvent processing (SAS) techniques by looking the fundamentals and applications of the method with some case studies. The final aim of this work is however to consider the SAS particle production process feasibility. In the process studied the solid is dissolved in a conventional solvent and the solution is sprayed continuously thr...
